In the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, we take great care in remembering those who served and gave their lives in war. On Remembrance Sunday, we will gather for a service in church at 9.45am where we will give thanks and pray for peace. We will sing hymns and commit to working together for a better future.
Following the service, we will parade together to the war memorial in King Edward Square near the town hall. Sir Andrew Mitchell, High Sheriff Mark Smith and Mayor Cllr Cindy Yip will be joined by representatives from the Armed Forces, uniformed organisations and civic groups to lay wreaths at the memorial.
All are welcome, we'd love to see you there.
