Introducing John Nicholls, our Director of Music

I’m John and I live in a village called Cannock Wood, on the edge of Cannock Chase, with my wife Margaret. We have two grown up children, Ellen and Andy and 2 cats!

Before coming to Holy Trinity, I was Director of Music at a church in Oadby, just outside Leicester, for 6 years, which involved a great deal of travelling each week. I have a particular passion for church choral music but also enjoy the more contemporary worship songs, you may see me playing my bass guitar if the opportunity arises.

Mike - Music Director

Away from church, I am heavily involved in the amateur musical theatre scene, and am a keen sportsman, although very much from the armchair these days. However, I do enjoy playing crown green bowls for a local team during the summer months. I am really looking forward to working alongside the musicians here at Holy Trinity and developing our worship together.
