The Gilbert & Sullivan Story – Birmingham Savoyards

Saturday 12th May 2018 at 7.30pm
W S Gilbert and Sir Arthur Sullivan’s collaboration brought us well known comic operettas such as The Mikado, Pirates of Penzance and The Gondoliers.

The Gilbert & Sullivan Story is a concert by the Birmingham Savoyards narrated by actors playing the parts of Messrs Gilbert and Sullivan and featuring songs from all 14 of their operas to illustrate this highly successful, if often stormy partnership. The selection offers something for everyone – from old familiar favourites to seldom-heard surprises.
