Volunteering and getting involved

Members of the congregation of Holy Trinity, and others from the Sutton Coldfield community, do many different things around the church and Trinity Centre without which we simply couldn’t be what we are. We depend on them offering their time and skills.

Most people find that they enjoy their volunteering. It’s a great way to meet people and make friends, and to really feel part of the church.

There is always work to be done, and more volunteers are always welcome.  There are jobs where you spend time with other people, and others where you can work quietly alone.

If you feel you have some time or skill to offer, please ask one of the wardens how you might help.

Here are some of the jobs that people at Holy Trinity freely give their time to do:

Volunteer weekday stewards

You’ll see from the list above that members of our congregation offer their time as volunteer weekday stewards – welcoming people to the church during open periods so that they can enjoy the peace and beauty of our building.  Even if you don’t plan to worship at Holy Trinity, if you would be interested in helping us keep the church open, see our information about becoming a Volunteer weekday steward.

Become a Friend of Holy Trinity

The ‘Friends of Holy Trinity Parish Church’  exist to sustain the historic building and therefore support the work of the church.

Fundraising is through membership, and delivery of an inspiring and engaging annual programme of events to ensure that Holy Trinity Parish Church remains at the very heart of the Sutton Coldfield community.

To find out more, visit our main Friends page with details of concerts and events, and how to become a member.

If you have any questions, or would like to find out more, you can contact the organiser either through the Trinity Centre  or directly by email: friends@htsc.org.uk
