A Weekend of Fun for All Ages: Saturday 7th – Sunday 8th October 2017
Bring your friends and family and join us for a host of activities including active worship, children's fun, crafts, a bouncy castle, storytelling and much more ..... plus, a traditional barn dance with live caller and fish and chip supper.
Sat 7th: 12:00 noon – 6.00pm: Our weekend festivities start with a short act of worship, followed by an on-site picnic, where you are invited to bring your own tasty
treats! A range of exciting activities will then be held throughout the afternoon including supervised children’s fun in the Trinity Centre (tea-time meal and drinks provided). For adults,
there will be engaging activities in church - "Something to think about" led by Susie Walker.
Sat 7th: 6.00pm – 9.15pm: Grab your dancing shoes for our evening barn dance in Church (children welcome), featuring a live caller, and fish and chip supper (for adults and older children). Don’t forget to bring your own drinks! Glasses provided.
Sun 8th: from 8.30am: Start the day with a hearty ‘Big Breakfast’ in the Trinity Centre, followed by the Harvest Thanksgiving Parade Service at 10.00am . . . where we’ll be concluding our activities with our usual refreshments AND cake to celebrate our first birthday back in church!
Adults pay just £15 each for a weekend ticket, while children under 16 go free (although children may only attend if they are with paying adults from their family).
Don’t worry if you can’t make the whole thing as it’s possible to buy tickets separately for the barn dance (£10) and the ‘Big Breakfast’ (£5).
Simply use the booking form (see below) to register. Cash and cheques are all accepted, and there will be an opportunity on Sunday 17th September to pay by card. However, we must have all bookings together with payment no later than 1st October.
Those attending will receive an information pack at the start of the day, with the full programme of activity, as well as tickets for the barn dance and breakfast.
