People can find themselves in need of support for many reasons. It may be that you are sick and unable to leave home or that you have been at home for a long time and are afraid of leaving home again.
At Holy Trinity we have a small group of visitors drawn from our regular congregation. We make home visits to those members of our congregation who have become housebound for whatever reason. We also visit people in the parish whose circumstances have been brought to our attention; maybe through illness or bereavement.
If you find you are no longer able to make it to church because you are housebound then we will bring communion to your home. A group of our congregation have been licensed for this purpose by The Bishop of Birmingham and they take communion to the homes of anyone who has requested it. This usually occurs on the first Sunday of each month immediately following our principal morning service.
If you are housebound, & would like to receive communion at home, then please contact us by calling 0121 321 1144 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
