The choir sings regularly every Sunday at 10am, for weddings and other special services too. We practise every Friday except in August or on public holidays from 7.15pm till around 8.30pm.
We wear formal robes (maroon) some Sundays and choir polo/sweatshirts (royal blue) for more informal services.
We expect regular singers to be able to sing in tune, preferably to read music (particularly important for tenors and basses!) and to want to sing to support the worship of Holy Trinity.
We sing a very wide range of music of different cultures from earliest times to the twenty-first century and in a range of styles.
We have the support of an organ and also a grand piano. We do also welcome those who play instruments who might want to join in our occasional band which plays for some “all-age” services.
If you want to find out more about music at Holy Trinity or about joining our choir please contact Stella Thebridge, our Music Director using the form below.
