Some pictures we took at CYG this year....
For anyone in school years 7 and above
CYG stands for Cluster Youth Group. The group is run by Holy Trinity with the help of volunteers from St Chad's (on Hollyfield Road) and St Peter's (on Maney Hill Road). Most of our members are young people from those churches, but there are others and all are welcome.
We do lots of fun things; quizzes, games, unihoc, bowling, BBQ, challenges, etc. and we even make time for a short God Slot.
We currently meet weekly in the Trinity Centre just across the turning circle outside Holy Trinity church - Sunday's at 7.00pm - 8.15pm.
You'd be welcome to join us.
For anyone in school year 5 - 7 (ish)
JCYG stands for Junior Cluster Youth Group. Again, this group is based at Holy Trinity, but involves volunteers from St Chad's and St Peter's and beyond. Our members come from the three churches and beyond - all are welcome.
We meet for table tennis, games, pool, unihoc, things to do with food, craft, chat and, of course, football! There's no entry charge but you might want some money for the tuck shop.
We meet every Friday in term time at the Trinity Centre from 7.00pm - 8.30pm.
Susie - our youth worker
I'm Susie Walker and I'm Holy Trinity's youth worker. You can find out more about me from the 'meet the team' page.
I run these youth groups with the help of a small team of volunteers from the three churches. If you want more information about the groups contact me at susiepwalker@ yahoo.co.uk or ask in church.
