Flower Festival
The theme of the flower festival was Creation
We held a Flower Festival from Friday 30th September to Sunday 2nd October. The proceeds will be divided between the John Taylor Hospice and our Tower Roof repairs. The event raised approximately £5300 (final figure to be confirmed once the gift aid is in). It's been fabulous, time for a well-earned rest, thanks to everyone for their support!
The pictures below are a combination of as it happened with comments and photo's added after.
Preparing for the Festival
Chris Kettel painting the globe
Chris Kettel putting the finishing touches to Antartica!
The theme of the flower festival is Creation and it called for a globe. Brian Dixon and Chris came to the rescue, but how they're going to get it to the church is another question.
God created the world in six days, it has taken Chris and Brian some what longer.

Brian Dixon and Chris Kettel putting the finishing touches to Noahs Ark. Part of the childrens activities planned for the weekend. Brian has spent the last three months planning and building the Ark. After the summer we've had, I think he intended to float it down to the church, but it seems he is going to have to change his method of transport because it looks like being glorious weather!
