We aim
to bring children and young people to faith and to encourage them in their
Christian beliefs within a child and family friendly church; and to let
them know there is a God who loves them; by offering them and their parents
the opportunity to develop through a range of relevant services, groups
and activities.
Sundays

Creche -
Soft Play Area
|
During 10 am family service in church for 0 to 4year olds.
There is a small carpeted area by the font where we have a selection
of quiet toys and activities for use. There is seating available for you
to be with your child and to allow you to be a part of the sevice. Please
don’t worry about your child disturbing others as it is an all age service.

Sparklers
|
During 10am family service during term-time. Sparklers is our group for
children of primary school age (4 to 7 years) .
1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays the go into choir vestry.
Our aim is to encourage the children to learn about God’s love for them
using story-telling
, prayer and games. The 3rd Sunday they go to the
Trinity Centre for art, crafts, drama.
Children are encouraged to use the Bible here and at home. The group rejoins
the congregation in time for Holy Communion.

Rockets
|
During 10.00am family service most Sundays during term-time. Rockets is
our group for school years 8+.
1st and 5th Sundays they meet in the clergy vestry. This involves fun
oriented teaching sessions for youth. We focus on the Bible and Christian
living.
2nd and 4th Sundays they stay in church.
The 3rd Sunday they go to the Trinity
Centre for art, crafts, drama.
Teenagers from this group also meet once a
month with the older teenagers in the Food for Thought group-see below.
We also hold one youth service a term and have occasional trips out.

Open House |
Wednesdays 9.30 - 11.30am in the Trinity Centre during term-time.
A time for pre-school children, babies and toddlers to play and parents/carers
to meet. We open the sessions with a short service. Refreshments available. |

Holiday Crew
|
The Sparklers and Rockets groups form part of the Holiday Crew for activities
in the church vestry during school holidays. We also have holiday clubs on
certain dates in the Easter and summer holidays.
