First and foremost we are about God.
God is everywhere and everything. We are about the people, the
community, the congregation which make up the church. Many people today
are
searching for something that seems to be missing in their lives, and
try almost anything to find it. The words spiritual or spirituality
seem to crop up time and again. We believe the 'thing' missing is
God.
We all look for God in different ways
and at Holy Trinity we have a very varied service pattern so each of us
can commune with God in a way that we feel comfortable with. On Sundays
there is more
formal, traditional language, service which takes place at 8.00am, a
more
family oriented service with various groups for children and young
people of all ages at
10.00am. At 5.30pm we have a Service of the Word, which can take the
form of Iona, or Taize style, contemplative worship; praise and prayer;
or the
more formal Holy Communion.
Midweek we have Holy Communion and
services for prayer and healing.
Spirituality is not just a word, but
very real and important to all of us.
We also have close
links to local
churches with Central Sutton Coldfield Churches Together and have
combined services and events.
